Simple, cute Blackberry commercial that I’m in love with. Aside from the obvious pull of the fashiony subject matter I pretty much want to marry the color palette and have its babies.
The holidays are right in my face and Andrea just opened an online store for her natural hair-inspired prints. Danger.
One of my recent favorites from The Sartorialist.
COMBO a collaborative animation by Blu and David Ellis (2 times loop). Blowing. My. Mind.

I was fairly mesmerized by this door that I spotted on lower Broadway. I wonder if I could get away with doing this to my front door without getting shanked by my landlord. Hmm.
Back to NY Fashion Week coverage: Marc Jacobs took it to the streets this season. So beautiful!

Designer Jenny Grigg is responsible for this excellent series of Peter Carey covers. FaceOut Books (my new obsession, yet another wonderfully curated collection of book cover design) gives us an inside look as she discusses her previous experiences with the project as well as her design process.

Nanette Lepore, Spring 1010. I LOVE how she incorporated the colorful knits.

Teaser trailer for “Up in the Air.” Directed by Jason Reitman.
Y’know I’ve honestly checked out of my Clooney Fandom for while now. Maybe I wasn’t cut out for political thrillers, quirky facial hair and the raping of the original Ocean’s 11. Admittedly I’m an ER/Out of Sight/One Fine Day Clooney fan. I’m a fan of this.
Up in the Air is the first film of his in a while that I’m REALLY excited to see. Thanks to my strong faith in the magic of Jason Reitman, Georgie and I just might be able to reconcile.

Tracy Reese’s show was one of the few that I made it to this week and she certainly didn’t disappoint. I need that blue dress in my life.

Marc by Marc Jacobs, Spring 2010.
I haven’t been vibing with Marc’s collections in recent years but I was bowled over by both of his shows this season. The fashion industry is suffering but Miss Modular’s mystical, imaginary closet grows bigger every day.
